The man behind the name
Meet Charles Willis
Electricity runs in the family. Charles learned the trade the old way: on the job, alongside men who believed a day's work should speak for itself. His dad and his grandfather built their names on showing up, doing it right, and standing behind it, and that's how Willis Electric runs today, four decades on.
After more than 40 years in electrical and construction work, and 14 of them licensed right here in the area, there isn't much he hasn't wired or built. Century-old farmhouses with knob-and-tube surprises. Commercial meter banks. Barns that hadn't seen an electrician since Eisenhower. He's the one who answers the phone, the one who shows up at your door, and the one whose name is on the invoice.

Home base is Paoli, and we run service calls all across Orange County and the surrounding towns. We're regularly down along the river too: New Albany, Clarksville, Jeffersonville, and Corydon are all standard territory. For the right job, we'll travel up to 100 miles out, that covers everything from Bloomington to Louisville. Kentucky projects? We sub under contractor licenses across the river.
